There's a very long, very boring story about how blogger tried really really hard for me to move my blog (or even post to my blog, which is why I started trying to move it in the first place), but I've come out victorious. Thanks, in large part, to having shell accounts on huge numbers of systems. I really do pitty the blogger user that doesn't have 15 or so shell accounts on various versions of SSH/SFTP to test things on.
Anyway, so I've moved, but comments have been lost = (
