Web 2.0 Expo NYC 2010

I’ve been in NY for the last 2 days, having a great time at the Web 2.0 Expo. Lots of folks have asked me for the slides and the lab zipfile, so there you are.

The browser panel was a lot of fun, thanks again to Ben and Dion’s ability to get the right folks and ask the inconvenient questions.

I’m sad that I’ll have to miss most of the conference, but it looks like HTML5/CSS3 has legs this year. Can’t wait to see what happens.

Fixed. That’s what I get for trying to post on the fly.

I don’t seem to be able to open the lab.tar.gz on Ubuntu (“This does not look like a tar archive”). I’ll try with my Mac when I get home and let you know how I get on.

Also, I’m interested why (on slide 31) you advocate no JS libraries, especially with your Dojo heritage. Could you elaborate please?

Works fine with my Mac. How odd.

I’ve compressed the original files and this one seems to work on Windows/Mac/Linux. Available at http://telliott.net/lab.tar.gz if anyone needs it.
