I miss Texas.

I miss the days where it's so bright outside that you can't really look at anything for very long, but everything is just more fascinating for it. The way you know you won't ever really be comfortable in your circa '85 car without A/C. The way the rain comes in massive torrents at the beginning of the summer, and not at all near the end. The way so much is slower, and faster, and different.
