Comments for App Engine: Most Of The Stuff I Want, None Of The Stuff I Don't

I think I added you to the invite list.
Pardon the ignorance. What's (was) Jot?
Brad:

Thank you! The platform is amazing and the event was quite enjoyable.

Bertrand:

JotSpot was a startup which was bought by google about a year and a half ago. I worked there for more than a year prior to the acquisition and one of the primary reasons I was attracted to Jot in the first place was the incredibly flexible and natural data model it provided. Program was data. Data was data. it was all versioned and there was never any concept of tables or joins or any of that. It was the most flexible system I've ever seen or used for building applications quickly and App Engine is starting to approach that flexiblity once more.
