Glad that actually worked out for you. I'll have to spy on your desktop to see the before/after (no Mac for me).
I read your post and decided to try it out for myself. Initially I really loved it.
Everything looked nice and smooth and TextMate looked really snazzy, but some applications are not designed to run under the platinum theme yet.
While it made other apps look good, Safari seemed a little awkward so I uninstalled it pretty soon after. Hopefully we will see more apps converted over to the new theme in the future.
